This paper classifies and analyzes some of the common mistakes that occur in the translation of tourism literature. The author aproaches these problems from the aspects of faithfulness to the original, grammar, style and logic, and makes a tentative study of the reasons behind such mistakes, with the aim of bringing greater attention to the issue of quality of translation of tourism literature. The author also hopes that the paper will be of help to English learners and translation lovers.
