Evolutions of Vowel upward and Downward Moving in Tibeto-Burman Languages

作者在文章中提出，缅文记录的古缅语元音到现代缅语元音的演变是长元 音舌位上移，藏语中短元音的舌位下移。如果这样的现象在其他藏缅语中都能存在， 那么它们就是藏缅语元音历史演变的规律。

The tongue positions of modern Burmese vowels are higher than those of correspondent long vowels in ancient Burmese.It is the long vowel up-moving,called by the author.The tongue posi- tions of vowels in modern Tibetan dialects are lower than those of correspondent short vowels in ancient.It is short vowels down-moving. If these movings have also taken place in other Tibetan- Burman languages,they are rules.
