This paper introduces the preparation and quality examination of double-layer suppository of Tripterygium wilfordii Hook. F. This suppository includes both the upper layer(a blank layer) and the lower layer(a drug-containing layer). The former can effectivel resist drug(released from the suppository' s end )to diffuse up,which prevent from the absorption of a great part of drug through portal-hepatic system so that it' s bioavailability obviously rise.
