本文讨论正在形成中的生命全程心理语言学的研究对象、理论渊源及其对诸如语言习得、语言与智力的关系等重大理论问题可能产生的潜在影响 。
In this paper the author makes a brief introduction to life_span psycholinguistics, a fledgling branch of psycholinguistics, addressing its major theoretical aspects and tracing its philosophical, psycholinguistic and psychological origins. The author also presents his personal views concerning the potential impact of life_span psycholinguistics upon some academic issues of great importance, such as language acquisition, the relationship between language and intelligence, etc. And finally, implications for practical purposes are discussed and highlighted.
