本文介绍了莱文森提出的新格莱斯原则 :数量原则、信息量原则、方式原则。重点讨论了这些原则在照应问题上的应用。作者认为照应问题比一般想象的要复杂 ,不仅涉及指称、视角 。
This paper presents the neo_Gricean principles proposed by S. Levinson: Q[uantity]_principle, I[nformativeness]_principle and M[anner]_principle, and discusses their application to anaphora. The author believes that anaphora is more complicated than has been recognized. It may not only involve reference, logophoricity, but also, perhaps, style.
