摘要
本文通过对文学翻译中的文体变形处的分析,指出在译家和作家之间存在着一种秘而不宣的意识冲突。无论是翻译文本中的译例,还是译家的言论,都清楚地表明译家的语言选择在很大程度上不同于作家。前者的语言策略具有信息取向,而后者则是诗学取向。据此,本文对传统的信息或语义取向的翻译策略提出质疑。
Throughan analysisof thestylisticdistortionsin literarytranslations,thispaperpointsoutthatbetweentheliterary translators andtheliterarywritersthereexistsomehiddenconflictsin perception.Evidencefoundin translatedtextsandthe opinionsgiven by translatorsbothshowthatthelinguisticstrategiestheypreferdifferto a greatextentfromthoseselectedby literarywriters.Literarytranslatorspreferinformationalstrategieswhileliterarywriterspoeticstrategies.Notingthatinliterary creationinformationtransmissionisnottheparamountgoalandformisnotsomethingtrivialor incidental,butpartof theliter-arycontentitself,thepaperchallengesthevalidityof theprevailingpreferencefor information-orientedor semantic-oriented translation.It concludeswiththeassertionthatin orderto representtheliterarinessof theoriginal,thetranslatorshouldadopt inprinciplethenorm-for-normanddeviation-for-deviationstrategyinhistranslation.
