The phonetic harmony of Zhuxi's(朱熹) Collected Comments on the Odes(诗集传) had been misread from then on. Demonstrating it by phonetic harmony, comparing it with Chendi' s'(陈第) ancient sounds and verifying it in Authentic of the Songs of Chu (楚辞辩证), the author thinks that the phonetic harmony in Collected Comments on the Odes (诗集传) is ancient sounds in Zhuxi's(朱熹) view. To study the phonetic harmony in Collected Comments on the Odes (诗集传) comprehensively and objectively will be of great benefit for understanding ancient phonology of the Southern Song Dynasty(南宋) and for recognizing history of ancient phonology afresh.
