摘要
大江健三郎把自己的小说方法概括为“包含着分歧的重复”。这一方法来自于他对百年来日本现代化的历史进程以及处于这一历史进程中的个人存在境况的理解与把握 ,并成熟于《万延元年的足球队》的创作。其中“分歧”的概念是对以东京为代表的中心主流文化与以四国为代表的地区边缘文化既对抗又依存的辩证关系的概括 ,“重复”概念则意味着在多个层面上具有“分歧”关系的各种异质文化因素的碰撞与媾合 ,从而相互激发出新的生命力。
Kenzaburo Ohe defines the method of his novel as 'repetition with disagreement'. This method, which becomes more developed and sophisticated in his novel Banengannen's Soccer Team (Mon'en gannen no futtoboru), originates from his understanding of the process of Japanese modernization in the last century and of the status of individuals within this period of time. While the concept of 'disagreement' refers to the dialectical relationships, dependent or conflicting, between the mainstream culture with Tokyo as its center and the marginal culture represented by the local region Sikoku, the concept of 'repetition' refers to the conflict and combination of the cultural elements of different qualities and on different levels. The interplay of their relationships brings about a new vitality. Ohe's later works have been written with this method.
