The Tibetan Culture in Anthropological Field of Vision

本文从早期西方人对西藏文化的认识入手 ,论述了历史上西藏文化的开放性和保守性 ,着重讨论了回归人民的西藏文化的发展 ,同时对“西藏文化衰落论”进行了驳议 ,并从人类社会民族文化多样性的人类学视角论述了西藏文化是不断发展的文化。文章通过历史比较等方法 ,使人们不仅清楚地看到当代西藏文化是一种充满发展活力的文化 ,而且也可以清楚地看到达赖集团宣扬“西藏文化衰落论”

Starting with the Westerners' understanding of Tibetan culture, this article expounds the openness and conservativeness of the Tibetan culture in history, pays special attention to the discussion on the development of the Tibetan culture that has returned to the people, while refutes the statement of “the decline of Tibetan culture” and argues at the angle of the diversity of ethnic cultures in human societies that Tibetan culture is a culture in continuous development. Through the historical comparison and other methods this article leads people not only to see clearly that the contemporary Tibetan culture is a culture brimming with vigour of development, but also seeing clearly what culture the Dalai clique is trying to maintain by spreading the statement of “the decline of Tibetan culture”.
