A brief introduction of the Iongwave transmitter was made in this paper. Some problems of the transmitter remained in the original designwere analysed, Finally, the author presented a principle and design of a new designed modulator which had been successfully used in the Iongwave transmitter. By the use of the new modulator the problems existed in the original design were mostly resolved and the emmitted waveform was highly improved.
