关于发展中泰友好合作关系的几点看法

SOME REMARKS ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF FRIENDLY AND COOPERATIVE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CHINA AND THAILAND

中泰关系是建立在和平共处五项原则、平等互利、互利互让、共同发展原则基础上的睦邻互信伙伴关系，对促进中国和东盟国家的友好合作发挥着积极的作用。应进一步深化中泰在各个领域的合作与交流、加强对青年一代的传统友好教育以巩固和发展两国友好关系。

The article was a speech delivered by the author during his recent visit to Thailand. As one of the leading officials in CAIFC in charge of ASEAN affairs before his coming to the current post, Li certainly has solid ground to give authoritative remarks to the Sion-Thai relations. Li holds that two principles should be followed for the further development of the bilateral relations: handling affairs between the two countries according to the five principles of peaceful coexistence and adhering to promoting exchanges on the basis of equality and mutual development. Li suggests to consolidate the cornerstone of the bilateral cooperation, strengthen the education of Sino-Thai traditional friendship among peoples of the two countries,and prevent and correctly handle any emergency case that might affect Sino-Thai relations.
