从 651年大食首次向唐遣使 ,就同唐朝出现了外交上相背走向 ,大食的河外扩张实质上是对唐朝西域政治主权的严峻挑战。公元 751年爆发怛逻斯之战 ,绝非一场偶然的遭遇战 。

Since the Arab had first sent diplomatic envoy to China in 651,the contrarily diplomatic trend was appearing between the two states. The Arabic expansion actually is a vigorous challenge to the political sovereign in Western Regions of Tang dynasty,the Talas campaign is absolutely not accidental battle,but an inevitable outcome of potical absolutely confrontation between the Arab and the Tang.
