摘要
本文试图在伊瑟尔关于阅读活动的理论以及其他有关文本创作和解读过程的理论基础上 ,开始一个新的文学活动的观察视角。本文以文本的叙事策略和读者的解读过程为一综合的研究对象 ,并将二者视为合作互动的过程 ,并通过对福克纳代表作《喧哗与骚动》的分析证明 :作品为了赢得读者 ,最大限度地达到其预先设想的叙事效果 ,采取独特的多视角、时序倒错、空白、否定等创作手法 。
This thesis is attempted to be a tentative study of the narrative strategy in The Sound and the Fury, and the effort of the author will be to gauge the remarkable power of the strategy in impelling the reader's personal understanding of the novel and his dynamic searching for its implied meanings. Wolfgang Iser, an outstanding repersentative of the reader based criticism, put all factors of literature and literary act into the range of communication. This coincides greatly with the response inviting structure employed in this novel. Thus his ideas are adopted in the thesis as the theoretical basis.
