委婉语与语言变迁——论委婉语使用对语言系统的影响

语言是一个不断变化的符号系统。语言变化常以语言变异的存在为条件 ,语言变异可导致语言变化。委婉语作为一种语言变异现象是导致语言变化的重要原因之一。本文拟从语言系统的语音、词汇和语义三个不同的言语层面探讨委婉语的构成。

Language is a constantly changing semiotic system, with language variation as the prerequisite of language change. This article, therefore, aims to analyse how the use, creation and development of euphemism, a kind of language variation, leads to language change on the phonetic, leixcal and semantic levels of language system.
