The Uygur Folk Literature in Chinese Translation and Its Characteristics in the 20th Century

维吾尔族聚居区蕴藏着丰富的民间文学瑰宝，它是维吾尔族文化的重要组成部分。体裁广泛，形式多样的维吾尔民间文学作品从２０世纪上半叶开始被译成汉文。经过几代人的辛勤笔耕，将大量的、具有代表性的作品译成了汉文。本文就其成果和特点进行了简要论述。

The Regions where the Uygur live in, there are gems of Uygur folk literature. It is a vital part of the Uygur Culture. Types and forms of the Uygur flok literature are rich and colourful. The work of translation began in the early part of the 20th Century. A lot of Uygur folk literature were translated into Chinese by many translators during several generations. This paper will discuss these fruits and characteristics of the translation.
