本文作者通过对北京市、河北省石家庄市和河北省涿州市 (县级市 )三地区的调查 ,发现了普通话舌面塞擦音发音部位前移的一些新问题 :“前移”分布面积较广 ,并且不限于北京的女青年 ;初中一年级是“前移”的转折时期 ;“前移”与发音方法有关 :擦音的前移频率最高 ,送气音次之 ,不送气音最低 ;“前移”

After an investigation of the fronting of the affricate consonants tφ,tφ′and φ by people in Beijing and Shijiazhuang and Zhuozhou of Hebei, the author has found: 1) The fronting phenomenon occurs rather extensively, not only among young women of Beijing as expected; 2) It seems that the first year of junior middle schools is the ‘turning period’ when the fronting first occurs; 3) The fronting is relevant to the way of articulation and speech speed; and 4) In terms of frequency of occurrence, the fronting of the palatal fricative φ comes the first, that of the aspirated tφ′ the second and that of the unaspirated tφ the third.
