隋朝修史也是有成绩的。隋朝史官王劭与魏澹在修史方面做的工作、取得的成绩 ,从一个侧面反映了隋朝修史的成就。他们的修史工作也有失误。

For a long time when talking about history, people have mentioned little about achievements of Sui Dynasty, about which there is actually not nothing worthy of our attention. This paper analyses the works the two historiographers in Sui Dynasty, Wang Shao and Wei Dan, had done and the appraisal of them by later generations, to render a fair judgement of the accomplishment and shortcomings of history writing of Sui Dynasty.
