摘要
隐喻是人类共有的,而隐喻化过程是相对的。隐喻的过程就是意义构建、意义转化 的过程。由此可见,语义是流变的,而非固定的。了解语义的特性是认知词典学的 切入点。本文在阐述隐喻化过程的基础上探讨如何在认知学习词典中明示义项之间 的隐喻关系,如何根据概念隐喻构建词汇模块,以提高语言学习者,尤其是二语习 得者的词汇能力。
Metaphor (defined as epiphora of the name by Aristotle) is central to meaning, as vocabulary is central to language. In this paper, we discuss the role (or the rule) of metaphor in human cognition, and the creation and/or change of meaning in particular, and the implications of metaphor for the cognitive approach to lexicography (COGLEX).
