西周春秋吴都迁徙考

The Movement of the Wu Capital During the Period of the Western Zhou and the Spring and Autumn

西周至春秋时期 ,吴都共有四次迁徙。周康王时 ,虞侯被封在江苏邳县加口 ,称“俎侯” ,春秋时为“”地。从康王时到西周晚期 ,吴国一直以俎为其国都。春秋初期 ,吴取邗国而建都于邗 ,即今扬州一带。邗为吴都一直到吴王诸樊时代。第三次和第四次迁都在吴王诸樊之后。诸樊与阖闾之都为秦时“吴县” ,即今无锡市西南 45里的闾江乡一带。吴王阖闾时所筑并所迁之都在今苏州市 ,其地本名即“姑苏”、“苏”。至夫差亡国之时苏州一直为吴都。

The Wu capital was moved for four times during the Western Zhou üand Spring and Autumn period. During the reign of King Kang of the Zhou dynasty, Yu Hou was granted the territory near what is now Jiakou, Pixian, Jiangsu province. His title was “Zu Hou”. (俎侯) During the Spring and Autumn period, it was called “Zu” (NFDC1). From the reign of King Kang to the late Western Zhou, Kingdom Wus capital was Zu (俎). During the Spring and Autumn period, the Wu Kingdom annihilated the Han Kingdom and made Han its capital, near what is today Yangzhou. Han was Wus capital until the reign of Zhu Fan, king of Wu. The capital was moved a third and fourth time after Zhu Fan became king. The capital of Wu during the reigns of Zhu Fan and He Lü was “Wu Xian” of Qin dynasty, near Lüjiang township, 45 li the southwest of todays Wuxi city. The capitals that king He Lü of Wu moved to and built were both in todays Suzhou city. Its original name was “Gusu” or “Su”. Suzhou was the capital of Wu until its fall during the reign of Fu Chai.
