The paper describes briefly rigid waterproof materials and their development, pointing out that these inorganic materials such as expanding agent can compensate for the shrinkage in concrete so that the concrete cracking may be solved.Meanwhile the tightness and permeability of the concrete are better than common waterproof concrete.These materials will promote the technical progress in building waterproof design and construction。
