摘要
根据现代地名科学的研究对象、内容和方法,以及各历史时期中国地名研究的实际状况,中国地名学的发展大体经历三个阶段:一、地名渊源与沿革研究阶段;二、近代地名学研究阶段;三、现代地名科学的兴起和发展阶段。
According to the object of study,content,and method of moderntoponymy,as well as the actual state of the study of toponyms in Chinain different historical periods,the development of the science of toponymshas undergone or has been undergoing the following three stages:(1)Thestage of inquiring into the origin and evolution of toponyms:(2)Thestage of inquiring into the science of toponyms;(3)The stage of therise and development of toponyms
