摘要
本文探讨了因子分析在恶性肿瘤病因学研究中的应用问题。并对750例大肠癌病例对照资料进行了分析。结果表明这种方法可以从众多的原始变量中提取少数几个有实际意义且相互独立的公因子,用公因子代替原始变量做相应的统计分析,有利于接近事物本质地探讨恶性肿瘤发生的病因学。
The paper reports the method and result
on the application of factor analysis in studying
the etiology of cancer. The authors analysed
the data of colorectal cancer case-control study
with factor analysis and logistic regression.
The result shows that a few latent fartors
which are extracted from the original variables
can summary the meaning and information of
them and benifit the etiology study of cancer.
