The thermal decomposition characteristics of GAP simulated low-oxygen fuel-rich propellant were studied by using DSC method. The effect of TMO catalysts on the thermal decomposition characteristics is investigated in this paper. The results show the different catalytical effect of TMOs on the thermal decomposition reactions of GAP, AP and KP. The mixture of some special TMOs is perhaps the best catalyst for the thermal decomposition process of the GAP fuel-rich propellant.
