论灌木林在“三北”防护林建设中的作用

“三北”地区干旱少雨多风沙,因此,适宜乔木生长的范围是有限的,而当地许多灌木树种对干旱环境有较强的适应性,适宜造林的范围广。在防风固沙、水土保持、改善生态环境方面有突出作用。此外,灌木林还可以提供饲料、燃料,有较高的开发利用价值。对于加速“三北”防护林建设,振兴“三北”经济有不可低估的作用。因此,在这一地区今后造林工作中应扩大灌木林的比例,充分发挥灌木林的优势。

But many species of shrub have a strong adaptation in arid environment Shrub forest has a great value for exploitation and utilization. It can not only be used in checking wind, sand fixation, soil and water conservation, improving ecological condition,but also can supply fuel and fodder. Therefore, we should not underestimate the effects of shrub species on protective forest construcion and promoting economic development 'Three North', areas and should expand the ratio of shrub species in plantation in the area.
