This paper introduces a new concept of electrothermal light gas chemical (ETL C) propulsion technology, which follows from, the comparison of advantages and disadvantages between ETC and ETL propulsion technolgoy, and reviewing the theoretical barriers of the chemical gun, explores a probable 1D math physical model of this innovation technology, and presents the experimental results of ETL and numerical calculating of ETL C in a 12.7 mm gun.
