论述知识经济时代的特征和我国经济发展缺少创新人才的现状 ,指出要解决这个问题 ,就必须加快发展高等教育事业 ,而发展高等教育事业光靠传统的教育方式是不行的 ,必须充分利用现代信息技术 ,大力开展远程教育 。

We are living in an age of knowledge economy, the development of which calls for numerous creative talents. But at present there is great shortage of such people. To solve this problem, the author points out that we should speed up the development of higher education to train and bring up the people we need by means of distance education, which is an important part of modern instructional technology.
