“尊老”之现代诠释

对传统文化的批判和继承 ,并不是简单的加减过程。“尊老”作为中华传统文化的重要组成部分 ,是中华先民与自然斗争经验的总结 ,它在历史上曾起过极其重要的作用。在进行社会主义现代化建设的今天 ,必须对“尊老”进行批判、改造和创新 ,使之适应时代发展的要求。本文主要从文化发展的角度 ,分析了“尊老”的成因和历史作用 ,并对如何处理尊老和现代化建设的关系提出一些看法。

To criticize and inherit the traditional culture,we should not simply receive or discard them. As an important part of Chinese traditional culture,respecting and honoring the aged,which has taken important effect in history,is a summing-up of the experience from our progenitors'struggle against the nature. However,only through critigue and transformation can it accord with the demands of the development of our society on the days of socialist modernization.This paper seeks to analyse its contributing factors and effects,offers some new ideas as to show how to conduct connection between modernization construction and this kind of tradition as well.
