On the Thought of “Three Represents”and the Party's Construction in the New Period

江泽民提出的“三个代表”思想,是对中国共产党八十年奋斗历程的精辟概括,它在准确把握社会基本矛盾发展规律的基础上,把马克思主义党建学说与中国社会主义初级阶段的实际相结合,解决了新时期建设一个什么样的党和怎样建设党的重大课题,体现了紧跟时代的创新意识。本文试从党的性质、宗旨和根本任务等方面论述“三个代表”思想对指导新世纪党的建设的重要作用。

President Jiang Zemin's thought of Three Represets summarizes the 80 years'struggle experiences of the Chinese Cimmunist Party. Accurately based on the development law of principal social contradictions, it combines Marxist theory of Party construction and the present situation of the starting stage of Chinese socialism and has solved the important issue of what Party to build and how to build it in the new period. This paper discusses how to build the Pary under the guidance of the thought of Three Represents in the new period from different angles of our Party's nature, goal and tasks.
