白居易《读张籍古乐府》作年考辩

A Discussion on the Time When Bei Ju-yi Composed His“After Reading Zhang Ji's Ancient Poems gu yue fu”

学界关于白居易《读张籍古乐府》的写作时间有“元和十年”和“元和初年”两说,本文从该诗文本出发,结合有关文史资料,详加考证,认为“元和十年”说切合实际。

There have been two views concerning the time when Bai Ju-yi wrote his 'After Reading Zhang Ji's Ancient Poems gu yue fu in the Chinese academic circles. One is that the poem was written in the tenth year of yuanhe reign,the other at the the first year of yuanhe reign .This article , based on the author's textual study of the poem itself and his research into some literature and historical accounts of the events that happened during the poet's life, holds that the correct time is the tenth year of yuanhe reign.
