在大国关系战略调整的背景下,中欧关系在世纪之交得到了明显提升,两国在政治、经济等领域都进行了卓有成效的合作.进入21世纪后,中欧关系中平衡性、战略性、伙伴性、全面性等特点可望得到进一步体现.

Zhao believes that Sino-European relations are facing a stage of accelerated adjustment and positioning.There are some facts:①The both sides keep a good and close posture of cooperation.②Dialogues at various levels are becoming a set mechanism and the agenda has gradually been widened.③The three important documents on China issue delivered by EU set a firm basis for a stable development of bilateral relations.The Sino-European relations,as the author says,is a new type of strategic cooperation.So,it should have some new features,i.e.equality,strategic nature and partnership.
