台湾“实验剧展”研究

以“年轻、前卫、艺术”为旗帜的“实验剧展” ,自一九八○年开始 ,至一九八四年为止 ,一共举办了五届 ,不仅带动了尔后非学生社团的“社会性剧团”的产生 ,更使得小型剧场的演出蔚为风气 ,直接、间接造成了一九八○年代末期以降 ,以年轻人为主的前卫性戏剧演出活动。本文的讨论 ,企图在社会发展的背景中找寻“实验剧展”的发生原因 ;其次 ,在中西剧场的历史脉络中找寻“实验剧展”的艺术胚胎 ;然后针对“实验剧展”参展剧团、剧本、舞台演出三方面 ,以剧展创立初衷为标准 ,在剧团组成、主题内容诉求、意识型态、以及剧场艺术的创新和专业性等方面作出一番摘要分析 ,并且进一步探讨“实验剧展”停办的真正原因 。

The Festival of Experimental Theatre,proclaiming itself a “youthful,pioneering,and artistic” event,was given five times from 1980 to 1984.The Festival has not only encouraged non\|student amateurish theatre groups,but has also brought forth Taiwan's “Little Theatre Movement”,a revolution in Taiwan's modern theatre led mainly by the youngsters.\;The task of this paper it to examines the socio\|cultural context of the Festival,and to explore the aesthetic inspirations which the Festival's participants had drawn from both the Western and Chinese traditions.I first chart the various forms of documents ranging from festival participants' dramatic texts,records of performances,their narratives of aesthetic goals and administration methods.I then investigate festival works' themes,their use of stage technigues and styles of actings.I also explore the cause of the Festival's termination after it's fifth events.To conclude this paper,I analyze the festival's artistic achievement,cultural impact,and overall influence to Taiwan's modern theatre development.
