思想政治工作 ,是经济工作和其他一切工作的生命线。做好新形势下工程技术人员的思想政治工作 ,应坚持以邓小平建设有中国特色社会主义的先进理论武装头脑 ,用江泽民总书记“三个代表”的重要思想来加强思想建设 ,以“讲学习、讲政治、讲正气”为主要内容开展思想政治工作 ,同时要将这三个方面的内容联系起来 ,深入贯彻 ,做好“五个结合”,保证思想政治工作落到实处。

Political ideological work,the lifeline of economic work as well as other work,should hold to DengXiaoping's theory on constructing socialism with Chinese characteristics and Jiang Zemin's thoughts on'triple representative';besides,we ought to devote major efforts to education with the main contents abuut'advocating study,advocating politics,advocating healthy atmosphere',and what is more,incorporate the abovementioned three aspects into an organic whole to implement it and insure the down to earth political ideological work.
