A Study on the Differences between the Flower of Ethnic Chinese and the Well-known Overseas Chinese in Myanmar

缅甸的华裔精英为缅甸的国家独立和民族解放作出了巨大的贡献 ,但知名侨领与华裔精英不同 ,他们不参与或很少参与缅甸政治 ,而在促进华人社区发展和中缅友好交往方面起着积极作用。他们有爱国的优良传统 ,表现在热心慈善事业、办报、办学、支持祖国革命、向国内投资、促进中缅友好关系。

The well-known overseas Chinese leaders are different from the flower of ethnic Chinese who have made great contribution to the Myanmar's independence and national liberation. Although they have never joined in the political affairs of Myanmar, the well-known overseas Chinese leaders have made positive contribution in promoting Sino-Myanmese relations and the development of the Chinese community in Myanmar. They have a glorious patriotic tradition in expression of contributing enthusiastically to charities, running newspapers, putting up schools and supporting the revolution in their motherland, investing in the internal markets and promoting the friendship between China and Myanmar.
