Academic journals of adult colleges are facing with opportunities and challenges in the new century. Only they seize a good opportunity and meet the challenge can they survive and develop. Academic journals should perfect themselves as follows: adhering to high learning quality to promote teaching and research; developing the advantage of discipline to stress the characteristics; attaching importance to region research and serving social practice; and improving the editors' qualities.
