山东济阳刘台子西周墓的史前遗玉

A Study on the Prehistoric Jade Objects Excavated in Western Zhou Tomb in Jiyang Shandong Province

山东济阳刘台子西周六号墓出土一件玉鹰虎饰,与同墓的玉雕风格迥异,却与龙山-石家河文化玉雕风格一致。从玉雕工艺及文化交流方面考证此件玉鹰虎饰为史前遗玉。

A jade ornament with eagle and tiger was excavated in the Western Zhou tomb 6 at Liutaizi, Jiyang County, Shandong. The style of this jade is different to that of the other pieces from the same tomb. However, the style is quite similar to t hat of Longshan Shijiahe culture. By comparing the carving technique, form, pat tern as well as considering the cultural exch anges of the time, we can therefo re concluded this piece was of prehistoric, and was buried in the Western Zhou tomb.
