The evolution of fiber optic cable fire retardancy measurement standard required by the mine safety standard is introduced. The fire retardant mechanism for mine fiber optic cable is analyzed. The design ideas for realizing mine fiber optic cable are presented. And the development of mine fiber optic cable is expected.
