Intelligence Investigation in Pupils and Middle School Students in Jinzhou

本文使用韦克斯勒智力量表(WISC—R)对锦州市6～16岁220名中小学生进行智力测试及学业成绩调查的结果表明:智力发育水平是较高的;在智力结构方面发展不平衡,言语智商高于操作智商,男生优于女生,中学生更为明显;智商与学业成绩之间存在着不同程度的相关;重点学校学生智商高于普通学校的学生。因此广泛进行教学改革,开发学生的智力是当务之急。

This article deals-with the intelligence test and school record of 220 school children between 6 and 16 years of age in the city of Jinzhou by means of Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children. The re- sults showed: the mean level of children's intelligence development was relatively high; the quotient of speech intelligence was higher than that of the activity intelligence; the quotient in boys was higher than that in girls, especially in middle school students; there was correlation between the intelligence quotient and school record; the intelligence quotient in key school students were higher than that in ordinary school students. Thus, it is imperative to conduct reformation of teaching and develop the students' intelligence.
