世界社会主义运动的历史经验表明,辩证认识和正确把握党的纲领，是无产阶级政党在理论上成熟的重要标志。江泽民“七一”讲话中深刻阐明的“最低纲领与最高纲领的统一论”，是马克思主义党建学说与社会主义初级阶段执政党建设实际相结合的伟大思想结晶，是中国共产党对世界社会主义运动的理论贡献。

The historical experience of world socialist movement in the past one hundred and fifty years or so has proved that dialectical knowledge and correct grasp of the Party's program is an indication of theoretical maturity of the Party. It is of vital importance to the governing party of a country, and it concerns the rise or decline of the socialist cause. In his “July 1 speech', Jiang Zemin expounded “the unity of minimum program and maximum program', which is a perfect example of combining the theory of Marxist party construction with its practice. It is also a great contribution to world socialist movement.
