Characters of the Codes of Han Dynasty Unearthed from Zhangjiashan

从《二年律令》和《奏谳书》可见 ,作为“汉承秦制”之产物的汉律确实继承了秦律的基本原则。但与秦律相比 ,汉律在维护封建家庭伦理 ,惩治官员犯罪 ,抑制吏治腐败方面又具有自己的特色。尤其是“严于治吏”的思想对今天的法制建设仍具有借鉴意义。

From the Two-year Laws and Decrees and Book of Zouyan ,it can be seen that as the result of 'Han inherited Qin's System',the Codes of Han Dynasty really inherited the basic principles of the Codes of Qin Dynasty.But compared with the Codes of the Qin Dynasty, the Codes of Han Dynasty have its own characteristics in the following aspects such as maintaining feudal family ethic,punishing the officials who have committed crimes,restraining corruption in the rule of officials.Especially, the idea of'imposing strict demands on officials'is still significant for the construction of legality as a reference.
