国际交流活动的日益广泛和语言使用研究的逐步拓展使“国际交流语用研究”受到广泛关注。本文综观了国际交流语用研究的主要研究内容：国际交流的语境分类，分类语境的语言特征，语境与话语的“互动共变”，交流语用的策略技巧，以及语用失误的处理原则等。作者指出，这些研究内容具有内在的逻辑联系，构成了国际交流语言使用研究的有机整体。

Vigorous development of international communication and increasing researches on language use have accelerated the pragmatic studies on international communication.This paper outlines this new field. The research aspects include exploring contextual categorization;describing linguistic features； investigating interplay between context and utterance;studying strategy employment;and probing into failure remedy.It is pointed out that these researches are interrelated and have formulated the framework of such studies.
