摘要
"优势竞赛论"作为一种新的翻译艺术观,提出了发挥译语优势、译文超过原作的问题.这种观点同传统的翻译观念有抵牾,所以不断在我国翻译理论界引发争论.本文在20世纪西方语言学美学观念发生重大变化的学术背景之下,分析了这种艺术观念的内容与本质,认为发挥译语优势,译文胜过原作,体现了语言创造并构成意义的新立场.
As a new artistic viewpoint of translation the theory of advantage and theory of resemblance present us with the theory of giving full play to the advantages of languages which are used to translate to make translations superior to the original works. This viewpoint is in conflict with the traditional translation theory and therefore, results in constant debates in the field. Based on the academic background of the great change in western linguistic aesthetic of the 20th century the author analyses the content and nature of this viewpoint and regards it as a new approach to reflect the forming of meaning by language creation.
