摘要
在简要介绍类典型理论及其认知价值的基础上,本文详细探讨了乔姆斯基语法这一范畴内部成员间的家族相似性,指出乔姆斯基语法包括一个类典型和多种类典型性不等的语法理论,而且,乔姆斯基语法与其他语言理论(如生成语义学、格语法等)也具有家族相似性.文章最后指出,运用类典型理论对乔姆斯基语法的重新审视正是类典型理论认知价值的展示和验证.
On the basis of a brief introduction to prototype theory and its cognitive value the author discovers family resemblance in all its member theories of the category Chomsky's grammar which, according to the author, comprises a prototype and other members of varying prototypicality. Family resemblance is also discovered between Chomsky's grammar and other grammars such as Generative Semantics and Case Grammar. The author comes to a conclusion that the application of prototype theory in the reanalysis of Chomsky's grammar is a demonstration of and testimony to the cognitive value of the former.
