本文把自传中的'现在'分为说者现在和故事现在,融合叙事研究的成果,在功能语言学的框架中探讨故事现在中的现在时的人际功能,通过考察自传话语中典型的时态模式,即被现在时频繁打断的过去时叙事,提出现在时在此类话语中具有特定的人际意义,即和谐叙事自我和经验自我的关系,删除回顾性,以及作内在的评价.

The paper explores the interpersonal function o f present tense in the story\|now of autobiographical discourse in the vein of f unctional linguistics.Incorporating the insights of narrative studies on tense,i t examines the typical tense pattern characteristic of autobiographies,namely,th e past\|tense narration interrupted frequently by preset tense.The interpersonal meaning of present tense is perceived as creating consonance,canceling retrospe ctivity and making internal evaluation.
