摘要
我国某厂生产的含70%麦草浆和30%木浆的印刷纸张在瑞典BTG Klle Inventing中试车间以TWIN-HSM和LAS-HSM装置分别进行表面施胶,颜料轻涂和涂布,经过软辊压光后,送到Wiking Tryckeri AB印刷厂进行彩色胶印。本文介绍了这次试验情况及所得的结果。
In order to evaluate the possibilities of improving the printability of the Chinese paper containing 70% straw pulp and 30% wood pulp, pilot trials of surface treatment with TWIN-HSM and LAS-HSM and full scale printing trial were carried out at BTG Kalle Inventing and STCs Nya Wiking Tryckeri AB in Sodertalje, Sweden respectively. The trial results indicated that surface sizing improved the print quality considerably, the pigmenting of the paper gave Very good print quality, a still better quality was obtained with the coated paper, the later was almost comparable to Swedish coated offset paper with about the same coated weight. The runabilities of the paper both at surface treatment equipments and at press room were good with exception that bad joints and holes in the paper caused problems.It is possible to reduce the liming at offset printing of the paper to a level acceptable for offset printing and produce a paper with good print quality. The TWIN-HSM equipment can be used for pigmenting or coating which gives a coated paper containing straw pulp with very good print quality at multicolor offset printing.
