Reconstruction of No. 5 Paper Machine of Guangzhou Paper Mill

广州造纸厂一台五十年代从芬兰引进的、日产100吨新闻纸的长网造纸机,运行三十多年后,又再次从芬兰引进部分关键设备,进行局部修复性技术改造,达到维持正常生产的目的,并且改善了新闻纸质量,降低了消耗。

No. 5 PM of Guangzhou Papet Mill with a design capacity of 100t/d, speed of 450m/min and trim width of 3990mm imported from Finland in 1955, has been reconstructed recently after running more than 35 years. Production of the reconstructed paper machine becomes normal while consumption decreases and paper quality is improved after several new equipments have been installed on the machine, which include large low pulse pressure screen, fan pump, cleaner system, Sym-Fol headbox, crown controlled stainless steel press and calender roll ect. Remarkable profit has been realized from this reconstruction.
