Based on published investigations of other resear-chers,the authors have carried out experimentalresearch for 20 years,and proved that the mecha-nisms of ear acupuncture in diagnosing and treatingdiseases involved not only a single system,but rathera comprehensive functional regulative system at va-rious levels through a number of approaches.Examplesare given to analyze how the theory is utilized to gu-ide clinical practice and to explain various clinicalphenomena.
