摘要
《一鸿算法》四卷,明余楷撰,1585年刊印完成。长期以来,人们都以为该书早已失传。实际上仍有明代原刊本存在。该书是一部珠算书,有大量诗歌和口诀,还有形式不同于程大位《算法统宗》所载"丈量步车"的"制车"等新内容。
Written by the Ming scholar Yu Kai and printed and published in 1585, Yi Hong Arithmetic has long been regarded as lost. In fact, however, an original edition of the work still survives in the Huangshan Museum, Anhui. The edition has in it a large number of mnenomic rhymes and pithy formulas on calculation with the use of an abacus. It also deals with a type of surveying instrument known as 'Zhi Che', which is different from 'the tape measure for surveying' introduced by Cheng Dawei (1533—1606) in his Systematic Treatise on Arithmetic (1592).
