贵州贫困山区的脱贫与水资源开发利用

POVERTY ALLEVIATION AND WATER RESOURCE DEVELOP- MENT IN POOR MOUNTAINOUS REGIONS OF GUSZHOU PROVINCE

本文以在我国西南山区有代表性的贵州省部分穷困地区为例,论述了人畜饮水困难,农田灌溉缺水,而丰富的地表水、地下水资源却在等待开发利用的状况。贫困山区能源供应严重不足,限制了社会经济的发展和人民群众生活水平的提高,而丰富的水力资源却亟待开发。文中指出,水资源、水能资源的开发,将能促进农业生产、乡镇工业的发展和生态环境的改善,达到尽快脱贫致富的目标。

Taking the typical poverty striken region of Guizhou Province in China's so-uthwestern mountainous area as an example, this paper elaborates such a situation about water resources, human being and livestock are short of drinking water, farmland is short of irrigation water, while aboundant surface water and ground water are waiting for exploitation; Severely insufficient power supply imposes a restriction on the development of social economic and the improving of the local people's living standard, while rich hydraulic power resources are yet to be exp-loited. The paper indicates that the development of water and hydraulic power resources will promote the development of agriculture, township enterprises, and the improving of eco-environment, and the achieving of the goal of poverty alle-viation.
