The moxibustion therapy pertains to the categoryof external treatment in the traditional Mongolianmedicine.It can be divided into four types:thefire,Mongolian,metal and drug moxibustion.Themain material used is refined Bai Shan Ji fine hair.The therapeutic effect was obtained by way of warm and heat stimulation of points or the affected regions.Indigestion,edema,palpable mass,impetigo in thefour extremities,boil,cellulites,epileptic maniaetc.are the indications of this therapy.It is contra-indicated for heat syndromes and those with heatexcess of blood.
