在明确区域开发及其重要性的基础上,以系统理论为指导,把区位理论、扩散理论和发展极理论等与我国国情相结合,提出了我国区域开发的“点轴网面”时空过程模式,用国内外现代经济发展过程与趋势加以证明,并结合我国区域开发的整体性、层次性、动态性和阶段性特征,对“点轴网面”时空过程进行了系统分析.

On the basis of the understanding of regional development and it's importance, guided by the Systems Theory, Center Location Theory, Diffusion Theory and Development Poles Theory are combined with our national situation, the model of 'Place—Belt—Network—Region' in the regional development filed is advanced, and proved furthen by the development process and tendency of modern economic of the world. And the time—space process is systematically analyzed.
